Pausing for a Breath

It’s been a big week! I launched the game’s Steam page and official announce trailer, and handled the associated creation and babysitting of social media posts.

Work on GUI systems has continued, with the newest demo including a mundane but potentially useful pause menu. The ultimate goal of this work is to allow for a system of upgrades, to make each run unique and (I hope) interesting.

A lot of time also went into design work this week, and I look forward to prototyping some of these systems for playtesting very soon now (probably in the upcoming week).
