There are countless feasts and holidays celebrated around the world each year.
To the best of my knowledge, however,
none of them have musical traditions which are nearly
as rich and far-reaching as those of Christmas.
The carols on this CD have been shared and enjoyed every December for hundreds of years. They have transcended geographic, political, and linguistic boundaries. I have elected to present them here on the ukulele, partially as a demonstration of my firm belief that music also transcends the perceived boundaries between different instruments, and partially because it simply seemed like something fun to do.
