Time for a Test Flight!

It’s been a long time coming, but the new models of drone are finally available in this month’s new demo! As usual, there are countless things I wish I’d had time to fix/improve, but the overall experience is starting to feel quite a bit more polished in some areas. Highlights of the new demo would include:

• The addition of 2 extra drone models, which can be selected when starting a new game
• Many internal enhancements to the music system, paving the way for faster growth of music-related features
• A rapidly-growing options menu, which already contains a handful of input, sound, and display settings
• An editable configuration file for retaining your options (and/or for possibly tweaking future experimental settings)
• Countless improvements to the game’s logic infrastructure, which will greatly accelerate the ongoing development of all the game’s systems. (This is where most of the development time went during the month of March.)
• A brand new main menu, to bring you into the game with a bit more flavor
